Electronic and physical materials contained in this collection include announcment of Dr. Lewis appointment to president of Clayton State University, his first two address given to the univeristy, along with printed materials and photos from his "Welcome" event.

Papers, documents, and objects from the presidential office of Dr. Harry S. Downs.  The founding president of Clayton Junior College in 1969, who lead the school to a four year institution by becoming Clayton State College in 1995. Collection includes general correspondence files, institutional reports, photos, and of institution implementation and governance of the first 25 years of Clayton State.

Papers and documents created and used by Dr. Richard A. Skinner during his time as president of Clayton State College,  the second serving president of the institution. while also aiding the school into transitioning to Clayton College & State University in 1996.

Materials within this collection contains documents and articles announcing Dr. T. Ramon Stutart named as presidential finalist and officially announced as president of the university, letters written by Dr. Stuart address to the academic community, along with event photographs and video recordings of presidential address made by Dr. Stuart.

Materials include President's Cabinet Meeting agendas, minutes, and documents; Administrative Council Meeting agendas, minutes, and documents; Clayton State VHS taps and CD discs, programs and marketing materials.
